Vintage 1923~1933 ball ideal "square" blue half pint Canning Jar w/ blue lid
This vintage 1923-1933 Ball Ideal "square" blue-glass half pint canning jar with a wire bail closure and a blue-glass lid is in good condition.
The words Ball IDEAL are embossed on one side of the jar. The mold number 4 is embossed on the base. The jar is approximately 5" tall.
As expected with vintage canning jars and lids, there are manufacturing flaws including bubbles in the glass. There is rust on the wire bail closure.
The canning jar shows wear consistent with its age and purpose including rim wear and surface scratches. Please look at the photos carefully.
