Decorative painted vintage wooden cheese, storage box, beach theme, Carolina dew

Vintage Round Wooden Cheese Box in excellent condition which has been given a “face lift.”
It's 15 inches in diameter and 5 1/2 inches tall. There are bands around the bottom and the lid to make it more sturdy.
It has nails to connect all off the wood. With the lid on, it has a diameter of 12" and a height of 5 1/4".
This was a used vintage box used to store and ship cheese. Now it has a beachy vibe that would work to store so many things!
Maybe the bills, pictures, letters and so many other things!
